Mahesh began working in education counselling in 2001, after a brief period in school teaching and language training. That early experience grew into a long career helping students navigate international education.
He is the Founder and CEO of Kangaroo Education Foundation. Alongside institutional leadership, he has served professional associations, mentored counsellors and contributed to training in Nepal's education sector.
His public life also includes community initiatives and a sustained creative practice. He writes poems, songs and short stories, and has published three books spanning short fiction and bilingual poetry.
