Mahesh makes space for writing alongside a busy professional life. Contemporary books, remembered classics and biographies form part of a reading habit that continually returns him to language.
His first published collection, Feri Ek Antya Ko Suruwat, brought together twenty-four short stories. His literary work has also appeared in print, while songs have been recorded with established musicians. Two later collections present his poetry bilingually.
