Mahesh Babu Timalsina takes writing as his best pass-time hobby. Taking aside some time from the busy schedule of works, meetings, visits and mentoring, he scribbles some lines whenever he gets time. You have to read more and more books to be able to write- Mahesh understands this fact and indulges him in reading the contemporary books as much as possible. He recalls his school and college days by repeating the study of some classic masterpieces of famous legendary writers. His inspiration for writing largely comes from this reading habit. He also observers his surroundings and the people he interacts with, that become the clue to his creations. Poetry, Song and Stories are his favorite genre for reading and writing both. He also enjoys reading biographies and autobiographies of famous personalities. In terms of writing, he feels more comfortable in creating short stories and short stories. His collection of stories “Feri Ek Antya Ko Suruwat (फेरि एक अन्त्यको शुरुवात)” is his published work that contains 24 stories. Apart from that, several of his stories and poems are published in newspapers and magazines. Some of his songs are recorded in the music and voice of famous artists. His latest creation “Let Us Join Our Hands” accumulated the huge appreciation as it depicted the relief works after the devastating Earthquake of 25 April 2015. The music video directed by Dins Palpalee was nominated in the best music video category in Image Award of the same year.
